Free Hiking

One day last week was the day. First of the season. It was warm enough, about 68 when I left home.

I only did about two miles. I was in no hurry. Spent time looking at the scenery in the coastal mountains east of Myrtle Point. A mile out and back took almost two hours. I hiked a portion of the Euphoria Ridge trail.

Every year I'm amazed how hiking nude makes the greens greener, the sky bluer, the air sweeter and how reluctant I am to cover up at the end of the hike.

I'll be out again soon when time and weather cooperate.
